Conde Nast Traveller’s Top 50 Travel Specialists 2025

We are delighted to have been named one of Conde Nast Traveller’s Top Travel Specialists for 2025, with the renowned magazine describing us as ‘local’, ‘authentic’ and ‘civilised’. It’s a brilliant list and, as Conde Nast Traveller says, travel experts are ‘more crucial than ever: not just to guide us to the heart of a destination, avoiding lazy tropes and opening doors that would otherwise remain locked, but to make sure we do so with due sensitivity to local environments and communities.’

Read an extract from the article below.

“Until The Slow Cyclist, too many cycling holidays tended towards cookie-cutter canal jaunts in France and the Low Countries. But Oli Broom, whose love of bike travel was cemented by a 2009 pedal from London to Brisbane, has never been overly interested in the beaten path. Hence The Slow Cyclist launched in Transylvania in 2014, with Broom drawn to its beautifully restored guesthouses but lack of tourism.”
